OCL India inaugurates a NewCement Plant

OCL India inaugurates a NewCement PlantOCL India Ltd., the flagship associate companyof Dalmia Cement Bharat Ltd., has commissioned its cement manufacturing unit(Bengal Cement Works), at Godapiasal Industrial Park, West Midnapore, WestBengal. The plant has been set-up at an investment of Rs. 615 crore. This newplant marks the initiation of the company’s investment cycle in the state ofWest Bengal. OCL India already has two cement plants at Cuttack and Rajgangpurin Orissa with a combined production capacity of 5.35 MTPA. The plant was officiallyinaugurated by Chief Minister, Govt of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee in thepresence of dignitaries including Dr Sukumar Hansda, Minister for PaschimanchalUnnayan Affairs; Sandhya Roy, Member of Parliament, Paschim Medinipur; ShriMrigen Maity, MLA, Salboni; and Shri Sanjay Mitra, IAS, Chief Secretary, Govtof West Bengal.
